OH FOR THE LOVE OF PORTLAND

mo and i had a spectacular early june adventure in and around portland.

besides the city we also visited multnomah falls, vista house, seaside and astoria.

the falls and the vista house were a re-visit for me.  

doug and i camped there at nearby ainsworth state park back in 2005 during our 6 month cross-country roadtrip. 

the falls are breathtaking all along that stretch of the columbia river.

between the state park and the vista house, about a ten mile stretch, there are

the horsetail falls

oneonta falls

multnomah falls

wahkeena falls

bridal veil falls

and the 

latourell falls.

a waterfall lover's paradise

along with us on our roadtrips on this visit we had jess (thanks for driving), adam (thanks also for driving), and little 8 week old freeman (thanks for taking your potty breaks outside the car).

portland is the BEST.

the coast is amazing

the tattoos are painless. almost

the dancing is contagious

the reading at powells is endless

the coffee is delicious

the air is clean

the company.....priceless.
