as of today i am living on board the jessie james for the next couple of weeks. i threw my bike, art supplies, a few articles of clothing, a huge sun hat and a great many books into the truck and we ventured to the oh so wonderfully cool estuary. doug will be returning to work tomorrow leaving me with my feet and my bike. for my tutoring in concord i'll walk up and jump on bart twice a week. the one positive thing about the gas prices is the boost in the amount of exercise i get! so sanding the bright work begins tomorrow.....it'll take me weeks to get from bow to aft...it'll be a zen thing...wax on wax off. soon she will bright and shiny with new varnish and we can sit back and admire our handiwork...with a cold beer in our hands of course.
