doug and i had an amazing tenth anniversary for the week of 11-11-11.
we took the coast starlight train to seattle.
went to the top of the space needle, visited pike's place market,
wandered seattle on foot and on the monorail for 2 days.
stopped in portland for a jessie visit overnight on the way home.
it was heaven.
no responsibility,
no stress,
no traffic worries.
sleeper car, lounge car, fall foliage,snow in the cascades.
reading, napping, eating, wine tasting, knitting...on board.
perfect.
