off to the jessie james for inspiration

jessie and i are spending my bday on board the jj. i'm going to start yet another new project before finishing the old ones.

life is too short to sweat the small stuff, right?

i'm making an 'oakland box'...got a wooden box, a years worth of 'street pickins'* found on the ground in and around oakland as i walked and walked, some glue, some paint, some markers....we'll see what develops.

the 'creation' will unfold while we watch the gilmore girls marathon.

my sweetpotato for company, lorelei and rory in the background, my hands sunk deep in markers, glue and paint.....rolling on the waves....seagulls squacking and herons fishing........what a perfect 52nd birthday!!!!!
