Spicer Reservoir

the canpground is located in the sierras at 6500 feet. you go through angel's camp and up into the high sierras heading towards bear valley. it's gorgeous. doug and i had a blast. felt like a month's worth of relaxation in 5 days. eating, laughing, fishing, eating, boating, laughing, fish stories, eating, darts, laughing, drinking, dancing, gabbing, eating, cooking, cleaning, laughing, campfires, gabbing, drinking, s'mores. did i mention eating and laughing? oh, and trips to the pit-toilets! at dinner one night there were 25-30 people! mostly ambrosoli's and holt's. every one of them friendly, warm, funny, accepting and giving. a beautiful extended family. doug and i are blessed to always be invited and made to feel included. a Big Kudos to jim and judy holt - the premiere host and hostess. they, and jim a., worked hard all week, plus before and after, to make it a wonderful time for all.
